sudoku2pdf.com ("we", "our", "the Service") is a free tool that generates printable Sudoku PDF files directly in your browser. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used.

2. Data we collect

Browser localStorage

We store a list of puzzle IDs that you have already downloaded, solely to avoid giving you duplicate puzzles on your next visit.

We store your prefered setup for the PDF file generation so that you can generate multiple files in a coherent way.

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Standard server logs

Like any web server, ours automatically records basic request information: your IP address, browser type, the URL requested, and the date/time of the request. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and operational purposes, and are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information. No account or registration is required.

3. PDF generation

All PDF files are generated locally in your browser using JavaScript. No PDF data is uploaded to our servers. The only server request made is to retrieve puzzle data (numbers and solutions) from our API.

4. Data retention and deletion

Server logs are purged after 30 days. localStorage data is stored only on your device; you can delete it at any time via your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear site data for sudoku2pdf.com).

5. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
